Candles

In addition to baking, I love getting into my crafts. One of my favourite crafts to get stuck into is candle making.

I was bought a candle making kit years ago and just absolutely fell in love with it.

All of my candles are vegetarian, cruelty free and made with 100% love.

I first got into candle making when I was bought a candle making kit as a gift. I absolutely loved it and felt the entire process of candle making very soothing and therapeutic. I found some pretty cups and saucers from charity shops and decided to start making teacup candles as gifts for friends and family and even sold a couple for other people to gift on. It's such a lovely personal gift for anyone and really does look so pretty!

As I'm no expert, sometimes I will have a little excess wax left over.

Easy fix: wax melts!

A cute shape and some moulds (I think they are actually for cake fondant making!) but hey ho!

Lovely little gift.

I think a lot of these simpler candles were used as gifts for Mother's Day, birthday and Christmas. Such a nice personal gift!

Of course I had to make a coffee candle!

These little ones are made with 100% Fairtrade certified ground African coffee and Fairtrade roasted coffee beans. Delicious with the sweet vanilla in there, too!

I absolutely love these candles! These are actually Jack Daniels Honey Tennessee whiskey with honey and vanilla. I think the flower and the little bumble bee decorations just make them super cute!

This one is the most recent and totally gorgeous. Made for one of my old university friends for her wedding day.

Rose petals and romance are written all over this adorable teapcup candle!
